Colossus Chorus

To all who dare challenge the arena, a brutal spectacle awaits beneath the rule of a tyrannical king. Play as Marcy Dawnfeather, a rebellious bard imprisoned for speaking out against the crown. By day, survive gladiator battles using improvised melee and music-based magic. By night, return to the underground prison to build bonds with fellow fighters and learn new spells. With every battle and alliance, Marcy moves closer to turning survival into rebellion.

Colossus Chorus is a 3D narrative action game developed by the team Sword and Stone Studios. With a combination of arena-based combat with character-driven storytelling, Marcy Dawnfeather fights for her freedom. A rebellious bard imprisoned for speaking out against a tyrannical king, Marcy was placed into a system of gladiatorial entertainment. She must fight through daily arena battles while secretly building relationships with fellow prisoners who may aid in her rebellion. The game blends fast-paced combat with narrative progression.

The gameplay is structured around a recurring day and night cycle. During the day, players will be placed in an arena with encounters differing in enemy types, amounts and level layout. Including a boss fight on specific days. Marcy’s combat style combines melee action with spellcasting through musical combinations, allowing players to perform different spell types through input sequences.

At night, the game shifts to the underground prison beneath the arena. Marcy will have to interact with other fighters and prisoners through dialogue and relationship-building. Players can uncover more about each character’s personal story and learn new spells that will affect the daytime sequence. It is up to you to rally up your fellow prisoners…

Colossus Chorus presents a story about resistance, survival, and the power of unity against oppression.
